We run, with zombies pursuing!
If you’ve got aces left to play,
Please tell us what you’ll be doing!
Mendez and Lee can save the day!
The Brain-O-Mat! That’s where it’s at, yeah!
If we can repair it (but quietly!)
The zombies need those brains to feed, yeah!
But Unity? Don’t tell her “Bite me!”
CHOMP! OW! She’ll bite an armful!
CHOMP! OW! She’s chewing off her parts!
CHOMP! OW! It’s slightly harmful!
She’s saying “OW!” ’cause it kinda smarts!
Well, the sign would already have to be there for GODOT to manipulate it, wouldn’t it? So what would the sign be? I mean, he could just put writing directly on the glass, but that would be suspicious.
Godot could have caused a real malfunction by making the operators misread the controls. Or, the original sign might have listed the special sauces for the day. I mean, if your entire diet consists of brains, wouldn’t you want some form of variety? Maybe truffle oil with black garlic, or umami ketchup?
Not that I advocate eating human brains with special sauces, but if you’re going to anyway…there are few things worse than being eaten by zombies and then having them complain about the flavor and preparation technique.
If I remember correctly, you’re half-right. GODOT tweaked the sign so that the zombies thought it was out of order and called the repair tech, then tweaked the repair tech’s manual so that he caused an actual failure.
Poor sweetheart.
*chomp* “ow!”
*chomp* “ow!”
That’s our Unity! *canned laughter*
At this rate it might be better just to feed Unity to the zombies. She’s survived worse, although it is hard to imagine that St. Charlie has.
Unity’s gonna need to replace that arm after this.
Or else…
…she’ll be armless.
And if there’s one thing they truly want in this situation, it’s a well-armed Unity. 😀
Indeed! She’s right handy in a tight spot.
That’s a rather disarming thought.
Yeah, I bet she could beat a T-Rex in a fight, hands down.
In a very real sense, U.N.I.T.Y. is a one-woman army.
In another, also very real sense, she is at least an 8-woman, and no more than a 32-woman, army (depending on current configuration)
And likely several men.
Can’t imagine an ‘unarmed’ Unity. Both literally and, um, literally.
Actually, we’ve seen Unity disarmed. Literally.

I’ guessing they’ll find that there’s nothing wrong with the Brain-o-Mat but a sign that GODOT made everyone misread.
Well, the sign would already have to be there for GODOT to manipulate it, wouldn’t it? So what would the sign be? I mean, he could just put writing directly on the glass, but that would be suspicious.

Maybe the sign said “Correct change only.”
If I remember correctly, you’re half-right. GODOT tweaked the sign so that the zombies thought it was out of order and called the repair tech, then tweaked the repair tech’s manual so that he caused an actual failure.

Out of Order
Following the manual
“Ooh, bad snarky outburst”
It was the altered manual that caused the explosion, not me.
I thought Unity said before that she didn’t feel pain? I guess she might have been exaggerating.
