    This explains so much

This does sound like Gavotte’s style. Sweetheart might want to lock down the armory first, though. No sense letting Captain Bram’s leftovers loose in the melee.

Well, Gavotte swarming everyone wasn’t much of a problem (except for Tip). Not sure how Sweetheart could even do that, so I don’t think it’s a concern.

Just find a mad scientist to create a cloning device. Considering Sweetheart’s creator, there is probably one near by anyway.

If you don’t have your own cloning device, store-bought is fine.

Consider the comic universe; there might be a store-bought cloning device somewhere. Drat, now I want to see a Sweetheart swarm, especially if they start as little puppies.

Still wouldn’t be a swarm. Clones each develop their own unique mind, so it’s not the same as a gestalt entity with a single mind.

Well, now you remove the clones’ brains and replace them with some biotechnology acting as an extension of Sweetheart’s brain, letting her control each of the clones.

That, or you could synchronize the brains’ wavelength to create a decentralized netword superimposing all the dogs’ wills, like the Sister in A Certain Magician Index.

There’s a town full of people with just a leetle tiny bit of Unity in them. That’s sounds like a group that could be made to swarm – Unity might even be able to do it from a distance.

We’ve got some Baked Alaskan dogs that are too uptight.
Apocalypse jokers start a pretty good fight.
    Fussing and a-feuding on a Blizzard-on Splatter-day night.
The whiteout’s here, and Sweetheart’s afraid,
With cabin fever strong in this snowed-in stockade,
Cause they’ll be screaming and blaspheming on a Blizzard-on Splatter-day night.
She’s got a mission more profound and it’s got out of hand.
Schlemiels are ruffled by these firebrands.
Take it down, hang around, drink a little tea,
Watch the flying dog fur as if she were the queen bee.
Fifteen may beat up twenty, but that’s still right.
    Cause they’ll be fussing and a-feuding on a Blizzard-on Splatter-day night.
She’s got a mission more profound and it’s got out of hand.
Schlemiels are ruffled by these firebrands.
Take it down, hang around, let them pull your leg.
Wade in at the end and take them down another peg.
Fifteen may beat up twenty, but that’s still right.
    Cause they’ll be fussing and a-feuding on a Blizzard-on Splatter-day night.
We can see they’ll be fussing and a-feuding on a Blizzard-on Splatter-day night.
One more time they’ll be fussing and a-feuding on a Blizzard-on Splatter-day night.

I had to look up the song on YouTube—I prefer your version.

It was on his “Son of a Son of a Sailor” album, though I probably heard it on the radio before I bought it.

Now I imagine a swarm of tiny flying Sweethearts…do they have bug wings, or feathery ones?

Leathery Batwings. She’s just that cool…

She is a mammal so they would be bat wings

Or they fly with their ears, like Snoopy.

I’m picturing Gavotte drinking tea as like, a series of those bee/hummingbird feeders filled with teas, with bees landing and taking sips.
