He usually has less reason for glee…
The Dork Knight is kinda the Link Hogthrob of AGI, so Nick is probably thinking over attempting loop-the-loops if he gets killed…
I’ve long been aware that the “Zerhakker” name (the hacker = one who hacks, nonmetaphorical hacking is chopping) is just another way to make it clear that Nick represents Baum’s “Tin Woodsman”, but I don’t think I’ve realized until now that he’s NICK THE CHOPPER.
I hope the villain Laser Fist doesn’t come after him for gadget infringement. Granted, he was about as good a villain as Nick’s opinion of this guy as a hero, but still…
Seriously, what’s with the funny lettering on his chest plate? A smallish capital A, and bigger GI? Armored General Infantry? Attack of the Gastro-Intestinals?
See now that theme song and a show just as clever could be prime time TV. Right there with my current fave which is Two Broke Girls. And if they could get Jeffrey C Wells and Shaenon to do some scripts I would go out and buy a TV set.
I don’t think we’ve been told what AG-I stands for. I don’t see a hyphen on the Red Knight’s chest plate, but I’m pretty sure it was hyphenated in some previous appearances. Do we know whether the I is a roman numeral or another part of the acronym?
The lack of illumination of the acronym has been bugging me ever since we found out Nick joined. I sort of assumed we’d been told somewhere and I missed it.
In fairness to Iron Idiot, I suspect that I too would consider being surrounded by a horde of evil munchies with no allies in sight to be an acceptable tradeoff for being able to try something like that out as well. ^_^
Hmmm, Nick speaking in three of the four panels, and no wrongswear?!?!
It’s probably not a record, but it seems it should be fairly close. ^_^

In my mind he was Captain Clueless, but The Dork Knight fits him so much better.
Link Hogthrob…
Most people would go for Zapp Brannigan, but I admire your Muppet reference.
I love it when a plot comes together!

Thunderball Fist? I can have such a thing?

Is it wrong to root for the vege-goats?
They are strangely cute…
Give me a moment while I add “laser fist” as one of the upper middle rungs of Maslow’s hierarchy.
*nods in agreement*
