      Sure, let’s go with that.

At least some of the Whimsybots are nuclear powered…

How do you make a robot run off of pie?

You can make a human run off pie quite easily.

I can do you one better. I will run towards a pie.

    …plus Unicorn Magic, I guess 😉

So that’s why Whimsy has a desk. So that unicorns can take core dumps on it.

Most common source of core dumps: OC7, uninitialized variables.

      Was it Whimsy’s virtual desktop?

I’m proud of nick! He’s getting a lot better at being snarky and rude without swearing!

Nick’s character development is the real arc of this comic. For proof, look through instances of Nick using or reacting to “that’s what she said” – it’s continuous moral improvement.

Yes, I think you’re right. Maybe after interacting with Aimee it’ll help him see himself as less flawed – or maybe actually as an fairly good guy/plane/helicopter. And a one that might be ready to tell his semi-mad scientist crush how he feels about her.

And the fact that Nick is still his chibi helicopter avatar.

No, that’s Nick’s regular body. The chibi avatar had eyes.

That’s not what it means Q.E.D. is an initialism of the Latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum, meaning “what was to be demonstrated”, or, less formally, “thus it has been demonstrated”.

The Latin QED had already been discussed. There was a TV show in ’82ish that ran only six episodes called QED. VERY old and obscure geek reference, fortunately I’m a very old and obscure geek.

“Q.E.D. (also written QED) is an initialism of the Latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum, meaning “what was to be demonstrated”, or, less formally, “thus it has been demonstrated”. The phrase is traditionally placed in its abbreviated form at the end of a mathematical proof or philosophical argument when the original proposition has been exactly restated as the conclusion of the demonstration.[1] The abbreviation thus signals the completion of the proof.” – Wikipedia

The power of love, is a unicorn thing
Make a CEO weep, makes Aimee sing
Give it all up, for a paper crown
The power of love, will bring Whimsey down

      Don’t need Whimsey,
      Don’t need brand name.
Met a hawt chick in a vidya game.
It’s wrong and it’s cruddy and it’s foolish, now,
But it might arrange his life.
      That’s the power of love.

I can’t wait to see Baron M’s next job. Working those children’s parties…served with papers from Whimsey’s lawyers about copyright infringement…

The Baron probably dreams of being a stripper at womens’ parties. He might wind up working for Skinhorse, if he can pass the civil-service exam.

Everybody is jumping to conclusions about what biologically unlikely feat Baron did on Whimsy’s desk. I choose to believe that he balanced on the tip of his beard while singing the entire Mikado backwards in under a minute.

Robert Nowall: Are you suggesting that Baron left something on Whimsy’s desk through Whimsy magic?

Not necessarily. He does do a lot of drinking…maybe he needs to valve it off every so often.
