Why do I get the feeling that the Secret Santa exchange is a chain much like Tip once down a long time ago…
Man, Sweetheart seems to be in full pointy-haired boss mode.
I suppose she thinks that they payoff at the end will make up for all the stress in the earlier stages – which, come to think of it, is what a lot of us have essentially agreed to believe about the holidays.
I suppose their inspirational speakers depress everyone, too.
Sweetheart is so giddy here that the Secret Santa must involve a LOT of organization, paperwork and filing to perform. Oh happy day!
Once we passed out secret gifts,
To boost morale for Christmas time.
All too soon our secret gifts
Made us employees feel like slime.
So we fired off complaints,
Like us disgruntled often do.
Bitching loud without restraint,
To get this mess under review.
Now we spend some petty change,
And last year’s gifts from bottom drawer.
So as we make our gift exchange,
Our secret gifts aren’t secret anymore

Yes! Secret Santa: The gift that keeps on giving.
Just pass on whatever you had from last year…
Don’t say “Pass on” around Unity. She prefers her brains fresh, you know.
