Go Lovelace, go! And I’m willing to bet that Nick might be salivating too. ^_^

They did that as a challenge one year on “Survivor,” and I was, “ooh! ooh! mod four picking FTW!”

The rules were you could take away one, two, or three items, and whoever took the last item wins.

That results in a situation where the team going second wins if they don’t mess up: However many the first team removes, the second team removes enough to leave a multiple of four items left, so that when it gets down to only four items remaining, however many team one removes, the second team is guaranteed a winning turn.

If a crow and a half can lay an egg and a half in a day and a half, how long will it take a lion with a peg leg to kick all the spheres out of a gumball machine?

Semi-vague character designs allow us to project the features we find most attractive, and his personality is for the most part endearingly rather than gratingly sardonic. Also he’s blonde, which makes up for a lot.

Also, Lovelace was created by a nerdy mad computer scientist and her first love was a (at the time) sane(-ish) computer scientist who was also rather nerdy looking. Not surprising that Lovelace would develop a “type.”

Of course, the last sphere is a *Pokeball with an angry dinosaur inside.

Lovelace looks just so *happy* in the last panel. You have to love it when someone so enjoys their work.
