That was next on the plan after the available drinks ran out. Plus the local vegetation might not be best for distilling alcohol – who knows what it might do in the vats, and what the booze might contain afterwards.
Necessity will impel him when the wine runs dry. Rarely do you need a still to originate wine, though; you use one ON wine to distill into brandy. It’s a good idea.
Or maybe the Cypress brought him here for reasons of her own. It’s hard to distinguish between a fugue state and a teleport if you haven’t been keeping track of time.
It could even be a callback to one of the iterations of the Swamp Thing. They think they’re still themselves but they are all creatures of the swamp. Wrong genre though.
Well, it would fit with the “Annihilation” theme, but seems a touch harsh for Skin Horse. Hope Shaenon and Jeffrey aren’t going George RR Martin on us.
“St. C.” is a bit different from “NYC”. I’ve never actually heard anyone pronounce “NYC” as “en wye see” – they always read it out as “New York City” – but I instinctively want to pronounce “St. C.” as “saint see”, even though I know it’s short for Saint Charlie.
I’m surprised and disappointed that he didn’t make his own still. O_O

At least there’s a totally unreasonable explanation why he’s here. I’m so glad we cleared that up.
No doubt spontaneous teleportation is a side effect of the mad science tech that makes St. Charlie bigger on the inside than the outside.

Also, it’s a “kilt” party because they have all been kilt. Don’t you see? Everything fits together.

Tip’s been a werewolf before. Being a plant zombie ghost would just be another day at this office.
“It’s missing time o’clock somewhere”?
So Phillips knows something about the lost 16 hours?
Now I would like to know if *I* lost sixteen hours somewhere.
is “St. C” pronounced “Saint Cee” or “eS, Tee, Cee”?
or is this C as in radio alphabet?
Since it’s a shortened form of Saint Charlie, it would sound like the letter C.
Compare to New York City being called NYC.
I realize I wasn’t wholly clear – “St.” would simply be read as the word “Saint” and then followed by “C” as in the letter.

I definitely hear people say “En Wye Cee”, for what that’s worth, just like people say “El Aye”.

Took me till now to muster the time and energy to say something. No song parody today, though this just cries out for “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.”
