Shaenon: For this month’s wallpaper, I opted to draw some heroic historical cross-dressing. This illustration is based on a portrait of the Chevalier d’Eon, 18th-century French soldier, diplomat, and spy for Louis XV.  The Chevalier was a cross-dresser and/or trans woman (this was a difficult person to put into any kind of clearly labeled box) who wore women’s clothing sometimes for spy purposes, sometimes just because.

Patreon contributors will continue to receive new wallpaper for the length of their contribution.
