Channing: Oh, rock! I do so love me the old-timey leatherhead aesthetic. Almost as much as I enjoy the old-timey aviator aesthetic. Or the old-timey Hollywood director aesthetic. (I have a thing for jodhpurs.) Basically if it is (a) a uniform of some kind and (b) old-timey it is a guaranteed hit with whatever portion of my brain decides what things are awesome.

Y’know, they call the case with all the nuclear codes for the President’s use, “the football.”
The idea of Tip in 20s flapper outfits is something that should be explored more often…
