Shaenon: Jeff and I don’t get to meet in person very often, and this year our only joint appearance will be at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle.  We’ll be sharing a booth with the great Bill Holbrook of Kevin and Kell fame.

We’ll also be appearing on the following panels, all on Friday for some reason:

Friday, March 28
1:20 PM: Mad Science, Webcomics and You
Hall C (Room 610)
Phil and Kaja Foglio (Girl Genius) and Jeffrey C. Wells (Skin Horse) talk about their work in over a decade of acclaimed mad-science adventures and reveal what’s in store for the future.

1:40 PM: The Wit and Wisdom of Webcartoonists
Hall D (Room 602-603)
Veteran creators Jennie Breeden (The Devil’s Panties), Danielle Corsetto (Girls with Slingshots), and Shaenon Garrity (Skin Horse, Monster of the Week), will share insights gleaned from a collective 38 years of webcomics experience.

4:20 PM: History of Webcomics
Hall C (Room 610)
The art form of webcomics is now twenty years old, and has gone through many changes. Some creators have been around long enough to see them all. In this panel, we’ll discuss the different platforms and revenue streams we’ve explored during these decades. What’s worked and what hasn’t?

So, you know, come see us!  Get some books and such!

Channing:  I don’t know exactly what choices I made that ended up in my sitting on a panel with the Foglios talking mad science in front of a sizable comic convention, but I have to admit they were probably good ones.  Anyway, super excited to visit the fine city of Seattle again and all y’all’s up there in the Pacific Northwest.  Come on down and join us!  I promise you that it will be a time.  It may be a good time, it may be an awesome time, but there will definitely be time involved.
